California High School Volleyball - Village Christian over Mayfield

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Village Christian Crusaders (Sun Valley, CA) and the visiting Mayfield Cubs (Pasadena, CA), saw Village Christian's volleyball squad notch a victory over Mayfield by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Village Christian improves its record to 13-10 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA) to meet the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 27. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 11-10. Crescenta Valley won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Muir (Pasadena, CA)

Next, the Cubs meet the La Salle Lancers (Pasadena, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Mayfield will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Pomona Catholic (Pomona, CA).
