Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - McConnellsburg can't get by Washington

The Washington Patriots edged the host McConnellsburg Spartans volleyball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 27. Washington will attempt to advance on its 8-13 season record. The Vikings come into the outing with a 9-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA).

With the loss, McConnellsburg drops to 8-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Southern Huntingdon County (Three Springs, PA) to play the Rockets in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Rockets enter the game with a record of 15-3. Southern Huntingdon County won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA)
