Illinois High School Volleyball - Brownstown/St. Elmo over Meridian

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles (St. Elmo, IL) and the host Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL), observed Brownstown/St. Elmo's volleyball team top Meridian by a tally of 2-0.

The Eagles (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Patoka (Patoka, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Patoka was defeated by First Baptist Academy (O'Fallon, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Bobcats now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Century for a South Egyptian test on Wednesday, October 1.
