In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Prairie du Chien Blackhawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Necedah Cardinals.

The Blackhawks (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against River Valley (Spring Green, WI). The Blackhawks come into the Southwest Wisconsin challenge with a 12-8 record. In their last challenge, River Valley was beaten by Platteville (Platteville, WI), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals face the La Farge Wildcats (La Farge, WI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 27. Necedah will attempt to advance on its 3-15 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Seneca (Seneca, WI).
