Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL) and the host Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL), observed Oak Mountain's volleyball team top Northridge by a count of 2-0.

The Eagles (14-13) will now prepare for their contest against Hoover (Hoover, AL). The Buccaneers enter the 7A Area 6 contest with a 12-16 record. In their last battle, Hoover achieved victory over Thompson (Alabaster, AL), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Jaguars now own a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Helena for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27. Northridge will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Spain Park (Hoover, AL). The Huskies record now stands at 15-13.
