Oxford Academy Patriots (Cypress, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Ocean View Seahawks (Huntington Beach, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenn (Norwalk, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Glenn lost by Whitney (Cerritos, CA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Seahawks now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buena Park for a Orange Coast test on Thursday, October 2.
