With the win, Shelby Valley improves its record to 24-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Harlan County (Harlan, KY) to meet the Black Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 27. The Black Bears come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Harlan County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Knott County Central (Hindman, KY)

Next, the Cougars meet the Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 29. Somerset Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 9-14 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY).
