In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Sherrard Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Trinity Blazers.
The Tigers (19-2) will now prepare for their test against Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Rockets go into the Three Rivers test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Rockridge gained a win over Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
The Blazers now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host DePaul College Prep for a Girls Catholic (GCAC) test on Tuesday, September 30. Trinity will face a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Chicago University (Chicago, IL). The Rams record now stands at 16-3.
