The Simon Kenton Pioneers volleyball team (Independence, KY), was beaten 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY)

The Yellowjackets (15-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Eminence (Eminence, KY). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 18-3 record. In their last challenge, Eminence beat Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 29. Simon Kenton will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Camels enter the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Ryle (Union, KY).
