Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Paul Cardinals (Shiner, TX) and the visiting Texas Serve Christian Cyclones (San Marcos, TX), observed St. Paul's volleyball team top Texas Serve Christian by a tally of 2-0.

The Cardinals (17-10) will now prepare for their test against Sacred Heart (Hallettsville, TX). The Indians go into the TAPPS 2A District 6 test with a 15-16 record. In their last test, Sacred Heart achieved victory over Faith Academy (Victoria, TX), 3-0, in a league test.

The Cyclones now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Veritas Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Texas Serve Christian will face a squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Brazos Christian (Bryan, TX). The record now stands at 9-19.
