St. Vincent's Saints (Savannah, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Whale Branch Warriors (Beaufort, SC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Saints (30-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 22-7 record. In their last challenge, Savannah Christian was beaten by South Effingham (Guyton, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors meet the Cartersville Hurricanes (Cartersville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Whale Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 28-6 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Alpharetta (Alpharetta, GA).
