With the win, Weston-McEwen improves its record to 6-6 on the season. The TigerScots host Grant Union (John Day, OR) to encounter the Prospectors in a 2A Blue Mountain battle on Thursday, October 2. The Prospectors go into the battle with a record of 7-9.

The Bobcats now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elgin for a 1A Old Oregon battle on Thursday, October 2. Union will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Imbler (Imbler, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 6-7.
