The Brown County Hornets topped the host Griggsville-Perry Tornadoes volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league contest.

Next up, the Hornets battle the Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL) in a Western Illinois Valley contest, on Thursday, September 30. Brown County will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Brussels (Brussels, IL).

With the loss, Griggsville-Perry moves to 0-8 on the year. The Tornadoes host Triopia/Virginia (Concord, IL) to battle the Trojans in a Western Illinois Valley contest on Thursday, September 30.
