South Carolina High School Football - Newberry trounces Eau Claire

In Wednesday's league match, the host Newberry Bulldogs football squad scored a big 56-0 victory over the Eau Claire Shamrocks.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) in a AA Region 4 test, on Friday, October 7. Newberry will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Rebels come into the test with a 2-5 record after their 41-20 league loss to Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC).
With the loss, Eau Claire drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Shamrocks host Keenan (Columbia, SC) to battle the Raiders in a AA Region 4 test on Friday, October 14. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 3-3.
