Ohio High School Soccer - Watkins Memorial knocks off Licking Valley

Watkins Memorial Warriors (Pataskala, OH) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Licking Valley Panthers (Newark, OH), 6-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Logan Chieftains (Logan, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 1. Watkins Memorial will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Chieftains enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Unioto (Chillicothe, OH).
The Panthers now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northridge for a Licking County challenge on Saturday, October 8. Licking Valley will confront a Vikings team coming off a 1-1 non-league Coshocton (Coshocton, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 1-4.
