The Chargers (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, North Gaston was beaten by Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), 46-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Red Raiders now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Kings Mountain for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 6. South Point will meet a Mountaineers team coming off a 42-0 non-league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 5-0.
