North Carolina High School Football - Elkin victorious over Surry Central

The Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) football overcame the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC), 12-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Buckin' Elks face the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 6. Elkin will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 38-0 non-league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC).

The Golden Eagles (0-6) will now prepare for their bout against Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Falcons enter the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Forbush was toppled by North Surry (Mount Airy, NC), 28-8, in a league bout.
