Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) fans left the game content Wednesday as they saw their football team rout the host Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC), 57-6 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mountain Heritage improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Avery County (Newland, NC) to confront the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-5.

With the loss, Madison drops to 1-5 on the campaign.
