The Lincoln Lions held off the visiting Central Knights soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league match.
The Lions now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Hendricken for a non-league game on Saturday, October 1. Lincoln will play a Hawks squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Hawks record now stands at 8-1.
The Knights (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Clippers go into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Cumberland was nudged by Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI), 2-0, in a non-league game.
