The Mullen Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Cherry Creek Bruins to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cherokee Trail for a non-league game on Friday, September 30. Mullen will meet a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 4-3.
The Bruins (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Grandview (Aurora, CO). The Wolves enter the non-league game with a 8-0 record. In their last game, Grandview gained a win over Arapahoe (Centennial, CO), 2-0, in a non-league game.
