In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Valley Christian Defenders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Anthony Saints.

The Defenders (16-2) will now prepare for their battle against Schurr (Montebello, CA). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 13-1 record. In their last battle, Schurr achieved victory over Alhambra (Alhambra, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Saints clash with the Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA) in a battle, on Tuesday, October 11. St. Anthony will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
