In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting John Paul II Catholic Saints soccer squad scored a close 7-0 triumph over the Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals.
The Saints (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record.
The Generals (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Arendell Parrott Academy was overwhelmed by Wayne Country Day (Goldsboro, NC), 3-2, in a league battle.
