Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Massabesic Mustangs (Waterboro, ME), 11-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) in a Class A - South challenge, on Friday, September 30. Portland will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Scots enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gorham (Gorham, ME).

The Mustangs now have a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they host Deering for a Class A - South challenge on Saturday, October 1. Massabesic will confront a Rams team coming off a 2-2 league Cheverus (Portland, ME). The Rams record now stands at 7-0.
