Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the North Springs Spartans (Atlanta, GA) and the visiting St. Francis Knights (Alpharetta, GA), witnessed North Springs's softball squad prevail over St. Francis by a count of 15-4.
The Spartans now sport a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Marist for a non-league match on Monday, October 3. North Springs will meet a War Eagles squad coming off a 9-7 league win over St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 11-7.
With the loss, St. Francis moves to 1-14 on the season. The Knights travel to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA) to meet the Patriots in a non-league match on Wednesday, October 12. The Patriots go into the match with a record of 11-11.
