The Hilltop Lancers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Chula Vista Spartans to 2 in the Lancers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Lancers now possess a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mar Vista for a Metro South Bay game on Tuesday, October 4. Hilltop will meet a Mariners team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over San Ysidro (San Diego, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 9-9.

The Spartans (10-15) will now prepare for their game against Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA). The Trojans enter the Metro South Bay game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Castle Park nipped Crawford (San Diego, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
