The The Burlington School Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion to 2 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans now have a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host O'Neal for a non-league game on Friday, September 30. The Burlington School will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 7-6.
The Lion (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Burlington Christian Academy (Burlington, NC). The Royals enter the NCISAA Triangle Triad game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Burlington Christian Academy held off Carolina Friends (Durham, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
