The Nansemond River Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Oscar Smith Tigers to 0 in the Warriors league victory on Thursday.

The Warriors now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norfolk Christian for a non-league game on Monday, October 2. Nansemond River will meet a Ambassadors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA). The Ambassadors record now stands at 4-9.

The Tigers (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets enter the Southeastern game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Deep Creek dropped by Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
