The Campbellsville Eagles thwarted the host Danville Admirals football team by a count of 36-6 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Campbellsville upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Holy Cross (Louisville, KY) to encounter the Cougars in a 1A District 2 outing on Friday, October 13. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 3-3.
With the loss, Danville drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Admirals travel to Leslie County (Hyden, KY) to confront the Eagles in a 2A District 6 test on Friday, October 6. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-2. Leslie County won 27-16 in their recent non-league test against Paintsville (Paintsville, KY)
