Nebraska High School Football - South Loup smashes Hyannis

The South Loup (Arnold, NE) football routed the host Hyannis Longhorns (Hyannis, NE), 58-18 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the face the Mullen Broncos (Mullen, NE) in a D2 District 9 (8 Man) bout, on Friday, October 6. South Loup will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Broncos enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 48-14 league win over Leyton (Dalton, NE).

The Longhorns (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE). The Coyotes enter the D2 District 9 (8 Man) bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Anselmo-Merna was overwhelmed by Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE), 63-36, in a league bout.
