In Thursday's league match, the visiting Pine Ridge Thorpes football squad scored a big 44-6 victory over the Little Wound Mustangs.
In their next game, the Thorpes clash with the Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa (Eagle Butte, SD) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 5. Pine Ridge will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 54-0 non-league loss to Winnebago (Winnebago, NE).
The Mustangs (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Red Cloud (Pine Ridge, SD). The Crusaders enter the All-Nations - West (9 Man) match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Red Cloud was crushed by Todd County (Mission, SD), 72-20, in a non-league match.
