The Steilacoom Sentinels held off the visiting Meadowdale Mavericks football team by a count of 28-22 in Thursday's non-league test.
With the triumph, Steilacoom improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Clover Park (Lakewood, WA) to confront the Timberwolves in a 2A South Puget Sound test on Friday, October 6. The Timberwolves come into the test with a record of 3-2. Clover Park won 22-19 in their recent league test against White River (Buckley, WA)
With the loss, Meadowdale drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Cedarcrest (Duvall, WA) to confront the Red Wolves in a 3A/2A Wesco - Polk test on Friday, October 6. The Red Wolves come into the test with a record of 4-1. Cedarcrest won 42-0 in their recent non-league test against Shorecrest (Seattle, WA)
