The Canyon Comanches football team (Anaheim, CA), was knocked off 54-26 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Yorba Linda Mustangs (Yorba Linda, CA)

The Mustangs (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against El Modena (Orange, CA). The Vanguards come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, El Modena knocked off Brea Olinda (Brea, CA), 35-34, in a non-league challenge.

The Comanches now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brea Olinda for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 5. Canyon will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 35-34 non-league loss to El Modena (Orange, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-1.
