South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) followers were thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their football squad triumph over the visiting Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL), 56-14 in a non-league battle.
The Storm now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lemont for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 7. South Elgin will face a Lemont HS squad coming off a 34-26 non-league win over Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Lemont HS record now stands at 1-2.
Coming up next, the Raiders face the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 12. Glenbard South will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 42-6 non-league loss to Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL).
