The Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) football defeated the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), 20-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 5. Herndon will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Chargers enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 14-6 non-league loss to South Lakes (Reston, VA).
The Generals (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Statesmen enter the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, George C. Marshall lost by Langley (McLean, VA), 42-14, in a non-league bout.
