With the loss, Independence drops to 6-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA) to confront the Drillers in a test on Thursday, October 5. The Drillers come into the test with a record of 5-1. Bakersfield won 40-6 in their recent non-league test against Chavez (Delano, CA)
