The Willowbrook Warriors football team (Villa Park, IL), was knocked off 34-26 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL)

The Lemont HS (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Storm come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, South Elgin knocked off Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL), 56-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Park-River Forest for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 7. Willowbrook will meet a Huskies team coming off a 31-18 non-league win over Lyons (LaGrange, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 3-3.
