The Smyrna Eagles held off the host Salesianum Sallies football team by a count of 32-27 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Smyrna upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Eagles host Middletown (Middletown, DE) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 4. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
With the loss, Salesianum moves to 1-2 on the season.
