The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA) and the visiting Juniata Indians (Mifflintown, PA), saw Altoona's soccer squad triumph over Juniata by a margin of 8-0.
The Mountain Lions now sport a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Middletown for a non-league test on Saturday, September 30. Altoona will meet a Blue Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Camp Hill (Camp Hill, PA). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Juniata drops to 3-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Line Mountain (Herndon, PA) to meet the Eagles in a Tri-Valley test on Tuesday, October 3. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 10-2. Line Mountain won 3-0 in their recent league test against Millersburg (Millersburg, PA)
