Bluffton Pirates (Bluffton, OH) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Liberty Center Tigers (Liberty Center, OH), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates face the Kalida Wildcats (Kalida, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 30. Bluffton will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Allen East (Harrod, OH).
The Tigers now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Delta for a Northwest Ohio challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Liberty Center will face a Panthers team coming off a 2-2 league Wauseon (Wauseon, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 10-2.
