In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Chesterton Trojans soccer squad scored a close 7-1 triumph over the Hanover Central Wildcats.
The Trojans (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Crown Point nudged Merrillville (Merrillville, IN), 10-0, in a league battle.
The Wildcats (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Munster (Munster, IN). The Mustangs come into the Northwest Crossroads battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Munster was overwhelmed by Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
