In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Mount Anthony Patriots soccer squad scored a good 10-0 triumph over the Taconic Thunder.
The Patriots (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT). The Bears come into the SVL-A battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Brattleboro thwarted Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT), 5-0, in a non-league battle.
The Thunder (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lee (Lee, MA). The Wildcats come into the Pioneer South battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Lee was overwhelmed by St. Mary (Westfield, MA), 9-1, in a non-league battle.
