In Thursday's non-league game, the Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA) football team got by the visiting Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA), by a score of 8-6.

The Hawks (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Magna Vista nipped George Washington (Danville, VA), 28-20, in a non-league game.
