North Carolina High School Football - West Carteret topples Dixon

The West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) football defeated the visiting Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), 62-50 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots face the White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC) in a bout, on Thursday, October 5. West Carteret will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 14-6 non-league loss to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC).
