In Thursday's league match, the visiting Dow Chargers football squad scored a close 22-18 victory over the Traverse City Central Trojans.
In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Heritage Hawks (Saginaw, MI) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 5. Dow will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 51-6 non-league win over Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI).
The Trojans (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Central (Bay City, MI). The Wolves enter the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Central was nudged by Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 48-0, in a non-league match.
