The West Mecklenburg Hawks football team (Charlotte, NC), was ripped 48-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC)

The Huskies (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, West Charlotte trounced Hopewell (Huntersville, NC), 42-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Hawks now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host North Mecklenburg for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 5. West Mecklenburg will meet a Vikings team coming off a 19-6 non-league loss to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-5.
