In Thursday's non-league game, the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) football team smashed the host Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC), by a final score of 42-6.

The Patriots (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Lee County was trounced by Hoke County (Raeford, NC), 20-13, in a non-league game.
