North Carolina High School Football - West Henderson tips Smoky Mountain

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) and the visiting Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), observed West Henderson's football squad edge Smoky Mountain by a count of 16-13.

The Falcons now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pisgah for a non-league contest on Thursday, October 5. West Henderson will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 20-13 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Bears record now stands at 3-1.
