Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Lane Tech Lane Tech (Chicago, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildkits face the Round Lake Panthers (Round Lake, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 12. Evanston will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record.

The Lane Tech now have a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they host Whitney Young for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 2.
