Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South Meteors (Calumet City, IL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL), 4-1 in a league challenge.
The Astros now have a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Thornton Fractional North for a challenge on Thursday, September 28. Shepard will face a Meteors team coming off a 9-1 league win over Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL). The Meteors record now stands at 6-1.
