In Thursday's league contest, the Gramercy Christian Warriors (Newport, NC) volleyball squad nudged the host Christ Covenant Spartan (Winterville, NC), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Warriors battle the Living Water Christian Warriors (Jacksonville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 29. Gramercy Christian will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC).

With the loss, Christ Covenant moves to 4-5 on the year. The Spartan travel to Unity Christian Academy (Chocowinity, NC) to battle the Warriors in a contest on Friday, October 6. The Warriors go into the contest with a record of 2-5.
